Seen in use on the line were:- 4-4-2 Sutton Flyer 4-4-2 Sutton Belle 4-4-2 Prince of Wales and diesel 'railcar' No. 4 We arrived as usual in time to see the loco preparation and departure for the station. The three Sutton engines proceeded to take out trains to Kingsway, returning to platform 3 on the extension branch and heading out to the new terminus. A lovely day for October! |
