Description:

This is a piece of a Robert Bussey video I found. It's cheesy, but his Aruki is very good. In case anybody is interested, Bussey is an ex-Bujinkan member that left due to the Buhddist over-tones of traditional Ninjutsu. He left to form his own school based upon Christian fundamentals. Because of the Christian overhaul, Bussey neglects to use the Japanese names of techniques when ever possible. This makes it difficult to relate anything he does with other organizations, so here is a quick terminology list of techniques which he performs in the video; Shinobi Iri - to enter silently. Shinobi Aruki - a set of silent movement skills. Yoko Ashi - basic toe-to-heal side step. O-Ashi - great step (similar to Yoko, but taller steps. used to cross fields or bodies of water silently). Mawashi Ashi - turning step (to look around while moving). Karasu Aruki - walking like a crow (side running). Ryohebi - moving like a serphant (low crawl). Kakureru Ni Ishi - hiding like a rock. (curling up into a ball). This is by no means all silent movement techniques. This is just a few that Bussey decided to show off. I wouldn't recommend using this as a learning tool, seeing as much of the important points of silent movement escape the camera. Hope that helps. Send any questions you might have to michaeltechfs@gmail.com, I'd be happy to answer anything.

Robert Bussey is a wonderful Christian brother. I have trained both with him and with his brother, Michael Bussey down in Arlington. I can tell you that the poster who claims that "Bussey is a retard" knows nothing of martial arts, nor of what it means to be a true warrior. Bussey is an expert bar none when it comes to both. If you think so poorly of Mr. Bussey, sir, you should spar with him sometime. Perhaps you can teach him something.

That is completely false. I detest people like you, who know neither Mr. Bussey or Dr. Hatsumi, yet you continue to spread lies. You are a very sad young man.

Bussey is a retard. One of the key precepts of Ninjutsu is shinto or buddhisim. To grasp the full art it is required to follow one of them. I am not against christianity I really like the princibles but it just does not mix with ninjutsu.

Robert Bussey explained the stealth and evasion thing like this. Do you want your wife or young daughter to go toe-to-toe with a much larger attacker? Wouldn't it be better for them to escape and hide? Fighting sports like MMA are not the same as self-defense. Consider Alex Gong. He was a world champion fighter, but didn't even understand basic self-defense.

When I trained with Robert Bussey, Jeremy Horn and Scott Morris were both instructors. Scott Morris is an excellent instructor and fighter. He just made a serious mistake. That happens. Also, people underestimate how good Pat Smith really is.

hey sativa, i love sativa lol and i love tenchu but tenchu is nothing like reality! ya must remember that an excersice you can do is if you have a cat or a dog (cat is better) wait till the cat/dog sleeps or is heavily distracted and try to come up behind it, and give it a big hug hah. u can try using coins or toothpicks to distract the animal.

i just thought of something i did in the old days. sit in a horse stance till it burns and just sink into the stance when it does. in tom browns field guied to wilderness survival the author recomends to practice stalking very slowly. try stalking up to animals with great flight distance too, just be carefull not to spooke them. good luck.
