PazkalTheRazkal ::: Favorites light beer? well usually we drink pils or "weizenbier" which have 4%(5%) alcohol and above, going on up to "starkbier" with 16% (as you get on the oktoberfest and such). but in berlin where i live there is a speciality calles "berliner weiße (mit schuß)" (meaning "berlin whites (with twist)". it has about 2,5% alcohol and you put sirup in it (nice on hot summerdays). they are even trying to sell isotonic beers her (like i would go and drink a non-alcoholic isotonic beer after sports...). 07-06-28 08:57:53 _____________________________________________________

There is no real trick to making low-calorie light Beer, the brewers lower the number of calories by using less malt and hops (I think it's mostly the malt that they use less of). As you would expect when they use less stuff to make the Beer gives the Beer weak taste. And I wouldn't think that stuff would sell in Germany.
