Description: On July 31, 2007, the Institute for Policy Studies held a press conference at the National Press Club, in Washington, D.C. The Cities for Peace is one of its projects. Later, a number of the activists marched on the White House after the press conference ended. Here are 47 photos which reflect some of yesterday's event. Voice overs by Joe Moore, City Alderman for Chicago, and John Cavanagh, Director of the IPS, were extracted from their comments made at the White House gate at the end of the rally.
